AZAR AJAJ – ISRAELI PALESTINIAN CHRISTIAN

“In times where the voice of extremism is getting louder, and the political tension in the country is elevating, in times where people are losing any hope for peace, I found it a great privilege to join my voice with others in this great and important film “Peacemakers: Crossing the Divide.”

Born and raised in Nazareth, Israel, Azar is an ordained minister who has been serving his Arab Israeli community for over twenty years. He has been a pastor at a local Baptist Church in Nazareth and is an executive for the United Bible Society in Israel. He now serves as the president of Nazareth Evangelical College. Azar is a bridge-builder. His work includes building relationships between local Arab churches and the Muslim community of Nazareth. He also has a deep desire and works diligently towards seeing a united body of Christ in Israel and Palestine.
